Manhattan UMW raises funds for missions, especially through the annual Santa's Closet gift bazaar, which features hand-crafted items and homemade bakery goods. Santa's Closet is held at the church on the second Saturday in November. At Santa's Closet, the UMW raffles a quilt which members called the "Piecemakers" have made and proceeds are used for various charities.
